Health and emergency services
Our campuses have a full-time physician and
additionally, at the San Pedro campus there are
two nurses. The Doctor's office has the necessary
supplies and equipment in order to provide first
aid care to students and personnel.
In association with Monterrey Tec's School of
Medicine (Nutrition Area Interns) each student
receives a diagnostic check-up and
recommendations for their medical file for his/her
proper physical development, with respect to food
consumption as well as in physical fitness
recommendations.
In case of medical emergencies, based on the
Campus Doctor's decision whether advanced
medical care or hospitalization is necessary, the
ambulance service EMME is called. Likewise for
accidents occurring inside school facilities and
designated areas or during specific and previously
designated events. In all cases EMME provides
the medical attention necessary en route to the
hospital if needed.
During each school year, students that do not have
private medical insurance policies will automatically
be included in the school's accident insurance policy.
The policy covers any accident a student may have inside our
school's facilities, during the school day and during events
or trips taken for school purposes, within a range.

Cafeteria
The cafeterias on both campuses are full-service,
providing options in meals to offer a variety of foods
and menu alternatives, while at the same time
assuring balance and nutrition. All menus fill
nutritional guidelines developed by experts in the
field.
The cafeteria services are linked to our medical
services, where our doctors maintain health records
on each student, in full coordination with Monterrey
Tec's School of Medicine-Nutrition Area, assuring
that their meals fulfill the recommendations
indicated in their records.
Another area of attention is mealtime manners.
To assist in teaching children proper etiquette, our
teachers, staff and parent volunteers help establish
the right environment for our students to do so,
reinforcing correct manners.
Students may purchase different food-snack alternative
during their recess break. All Exploratory children receive a snack
al their mid-day, provided by AIM or brought from home,
as part of our nutritional guideline assurance program.
