Exploratory

In Exploratory, we follow the i-PAL philosophy. In addition, we believe that young children learn holistically: their physical, emotional, social, linguistic, visual, auditory, and intellectual learning are closely inter-related and occur simultaneously. The inter-weaving of these different areas of experience is what makes learning meaningful for young children as children learn effectively if activities integrate various learning aspects of curriculum.

In response to the needs and the reality of the 21st century digital learners, technology is used intensively and consistently as a tool to communicate, reach out for the world and expand learning beyond the classroom environment; electronic gadgets and devices like iPods and classmates are used for learning at different paces as well as to the English immersion and critical thinking skills.

We are equally concerned with creating the kind of school environment that supports the development of core and cross-cultural values, as well as civic and global responsibility in our students.

Students in the Exploratory division have a broad range of specialized courses from which to choose if they wish to get into the world of the Arts and the Physical development. Some of these courses are taken after regular school hours, as some of them can be during their regular instruction time. These optional courses include a variety of levels of instruction in Piano, Guitar, Violin, Visual Arts and Dance since the Nursery level. When reaching English I we can also offer to our students Soccer, Basket and Tae Kwon Do, after regular school hours.
